The New Ulm Club will hold it’s 62nd annual Athletic Appreciation Banquet at 6:30 p.m. on April 9 at Martin Luther College. Tickets are available for $15 at Nicklasson Athletic. The banquet honors senior letterwinners at all three high schools in New Ulm. Glenn Caruso, the head football coach of the St. Thomas football team, will be the guest speaker. Caruso, 41, led the Tommies to the Division III championship game this season. Caruso is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut, and will be the 13th college coach to speak at the New Ulm Club event honoring senior athletes from New Ulm High School, New Ulm Cathedral and Minnesota Valley Lutheran.
