At the time of his death, he was the oldest Commander of a Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Chapter in the United States. Up until the end, Wojahn continued to be of service to his community. Wojahn’s service to others began in WWII. He joined the Marines and was part of the beach landing at Peleliu. Hundreds of tons of opioids have been confiscated or blown up along with narco terrorists thanks to Coast Guard and especially the Navy.
