Don’t need a president seeking spotlight
To the Editor:
I am writing because I have to let my frustrations out, so many issues to address.
• The lack of concern, as well as the lack of respect and communication, for and between people, seemingly championed by President Trump.
• Our president, who is talking of developing, and testing new nuclear weapons, started a war with Iran. And, he seems to think he has a say in who becomes Iran’s next leader. He has a need to be the center of attention.
• Trump shows no desire to keep our environment healthy. He hopes to lessen, or delete control on emissions from gas vehicles, factories, manufacturing plants…. What might that ‘soup’ of airborne chemicals do to all life.
His primary interest seems to whatever puts him in the spotlight.
I have children and grandchildren, whom, I hope, can live long, satisfying lives. We need to tell our government that we want the earth, as well as life on earth, to survive. We need a well-informed, concerned, and engaged president; not a selfish, egotistical, narcissistic dictator-wanna-be, doing whatever puts him on the news every evening.
