To the editor:

Donald Trump has been politicking for a Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel people have not cooperated. If we check events in and around Iran, Venezuela, Cub and Greenland during the last two months, we can understand their reluctance.

Contrast these events with the last presidential election. On Nov. 2, 2024, just before the election, Donald Trump said, “If Kamala wins, only death and destruction await because she is the candidate of endless wars. I am the candidate of peace. I am peace.”

Four days later Donald Trump added, “I’m not going to start a war. I’m going to stop wars.”

Can this man be trusted with a nuclear arsenal capable of obliterating all life on earth?
