All the world is watching

To the editor:

I listened to 47’s address at the World Economic Forum. I’d like a redacted copy of his speech. The redactions would be for the lies and insults that he uttered with machine gun rapidity. When those blackouts would be completed, the redacted text would sound like an opera singer’s warm up, “Me-Me-Me-Me-Me!”

I’m not a mathematician. I’m comfortable with statistics, but when I’m talking, I have a tendency accidentally to mix up my hundreds and thousands. Nevertheless, I think I know enough about mathematics that when the 0resident talks about things’ prices going down beyond 100% — that is a mathematical impossibility. I know that some hyperbolic people in the sports world have invested in the notion that an athlete can give more than 100%. I hope I was never one of those maniacal coaches that pleaded for my athletes go beyond their physical limitations. Obviously, the president has gone beyond his mental abilities, dare I say he’s an over-achiever, but he couldn’t have done it without his flummoxed voters, who have been unable to discern that he is completely in over his head. I know MAGA is behind him 110%, and that is 100% of our country’s problem.

When he was finished with his lies and insults, he sat for questions, which he never answered. And we as Americans have to sit in embarrassment as the rest of NATO is subjected to his narcissistic ramblings that exhibit his newfound, imperialistic fetishes. Whatever happened to America first? Now it’s America first in Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Greenland, (and did he glitch and say “Iceland”?) and any place else that 47 sees an opportunity to make millions. The fraud of the current administration is pervasive. The threat to democracy is real.
