What do you value?
To the editor:
Do you value life? Is the First Amendment right to speak and assemble cherished by those you know? Is the right to bear arms as stated in the Second Amendment important to you? Regardless of politics, the vast majority of Americans value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We also value the right to bear arms as established by law. Now is the time for freedom loving Minnesotans to speak up. Speak up for the freedom to protest and protect our neighbors. Speak up for the right to state openly what you believe. Speak up for the ability to listen to others speak freely. And speak up for the freedom to bear arms as established by Minnesota Law.
The tragic death of Alex Pretti occurred when his rights to assemble, speak, and bear arms were violated. This could have been any citizen who feels passionate about an issue. This could have been me.
