Insanity inside the White House
To the editor:
U.S. Trade war is diplomatic to shore-up relationships between U.S. and world? Such tactics only create huge negatives/feelings/attitudes to isolate U.S. more. Why the richest man in the world in the Oval Office most every day to dictate government operations? His eyes reveal that he greatly desires to have the Presidential Office/Chair for himself soon.
What pay-offs were Musk given besides a paycheck? News acclaimed that he received government contracts via Trump for his businesses. Trump bought a Tesla car since Musk was his buddy but did the taxpayer pay for that too? Slashing millions from the budget that would have aided legal U.S. citizens treated as normal and proper while those millions and more saved now go to a military parade in D.C. to celebrate Trump’s birthday. Only dictators put their military hardware on display in public with a parade on their birthdays to show how powerful that dictator is to rule all.
Cutting wasteful spending proper but to slash across the board the worthwhile jobs/staff is insane. Now, even more innocent, hardworking folks will suffer and struggle to survive with all the tariffs increased, cost of everything constantly going up, and pennies removed, thus every item wil1 cost more to the nearest nickel. To have a job and food now a luxury? Trump and his wealthy buddies won’t suffer in anyway, yet he wants us to absorb the pain for a “short time” as he stated.
He wanted to ship U.S. prisoners to South America to be rid of them. Now DOGE is going after Social Security, wanting all the records per person. Will we seniors be “erased”next to save the Feds money? Trump’s so, arrogance and greed for world power is self-evident and terrifying. He signs 100s of executive orders while bypassing the Congress and Courts, ignores the Constitution and laws, in general. He truly acts as though he is king and above everything and everyone: After 100 days, he speaks of a third term already? Only a ruler/dictator has those desires, then achieves by force.
