Check out programming on scam artists

To the editor:

I’d encourage everyone who is concerned about fraud and scam artists and even all others who should be wary. Tune in to the NUCAT Channel (New Ulm Community Access TV station) to find when the televised program on fraud and scammers was given with lots of useful preventative information on how to prevent getting caught up in a scammer snare potentially losing all your hard-earned money.

Over 300 people attended this free informational beware and “look out” session at the St. Paul Lutheran Church gathering room on May 28. The presenters, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned about people’s welfare, were nine employees from various local banks as well as the chief of police, Brown County human services social and financial workers, county attorney’s office and the administrator of Oak Hills Living Center. You will learn about developing a genuine healthy index of suspicion. How to avoiding falling prey to these ill-intended underhanded scammers.

To find the time NUCAT has listed the TV program guide in The Journal.
