Inept Minnesota Legislature and governor

To the editor:

Minnesota lawmakers have sunk to a new low of stupidity with a “blank check” law. They pass a marijuana law with no clear rules as to where it is legal to use or how to enforce the law, then leaving individuals, cities, and cops totally confused as to what is legal, where is it legal to use, how is the use measured if stopped by a cop on the roadway (can’t be tested like for alcohol), and what are the penalties? This law should never have been enacted as Colorado warned states not to do it. They learned the hard way what a “can of worms” this evil would unleash on everyone.

Instead of pushing endless, costly bills through in a super, speedy fashion, do your job sanely and with ethics, legislature. Read the entire bills before approving … called “doing your job properly for all citizens of Minnesota. Do your elected job in a responsible, efficient, sane and concise manner to write the bills clearly and to be thorough without doubts or questions as to just what is the law. If you can’t perform your job, expect to be “fired” come the next election. Retire by age 65 as everyone else must when working. Stop being “dinosaurs” with a nonworking brain while still on the job at age 90 to become even richer on the taxpayers’ dime.
