To the editor:

Congratulations to the city of Grand Forks and to the Air Force base for stopping China in their quest to take over some farmland and create a corn plant, all at a cost of $700 million.

Thank you Grand Forks for not putting the greed of money ahead of national security as China continues it attempts at amassing U.S. land near sensitive communication centers and all for long-term and dangerous.

Wakeup politicians, and stop allowing our many adversaries around the world “invade” the U.S. buying up our farmland and many assets of value to our economy and all Americans. Why is D.C. selling the U.S. to our enemies.

A number of “sane, civilized, democracies” have made investments in the U.S., to include Canada who is most welcome and certainly are no threat to our nation’s securities as China and other dictatorships are.

Again, North Dakota, you are wonderful Americans in protecting our nation’s security.

D.C., wake up and protect America.
