Vaccine approved with no human testing

To the editor:

“Covid-19 and trust in our community” is the title of an editorial/letter in last year’s Journal that was signed by 43 area medical personnel. It encouraged people to get a COVID shot. It stated: “The vaccine’s MRNA is destroyed by your body within hours. It is gone.” It also stated: “The FDA is painstakingly cautious on your behalf.”

But the FDA has now authorized a shot that has received no testing on humans at all. Eight mice. That’s it. Robert Malone has made this statement regarding the FDA: “It’s very clear that standard norms that would be implemented for any other vaccine in any other context that I’ve ever known were overlooked.” (COVID Revealed transcripts, p. 145)

Anthony Fauci has defended what the FDA is now doing. (“… We don’t have time to do a clinical trial ….” As Matt Palumbo commented: “We’ve gone from ‘follow the science’ to ‘we don’t have time for science’ in record time.”) Should he be trusted? Let’s remember that on top of everything else, he has recently made both of the following statements: “I recommended to the president that we shut the country down.” “I didn’t recommend locking anything down.”

Why did the FDA want 75 years for release of documents?

Just before submitting this letter, I came upon Jon Miltimore’s article “Cornell University physician: I was wrong about Covid vaccine mandates.” It tells of Dr. Paul Fenyves’s belief that “scientists and public health officials must act more humbly and recognize the limits of their knowledge.” I also came across “Why did the CDC hide the V-safe data from the American people for almost two years?” by Steve Kirsch.
