Ukraine

To the editor,

Suprise, surprise, surprise. Russian “President” Putin is finally taking Ukraine. Meanwhile, NATO twiddles it’s thumbs, complains, and does nothing. Why Ukraine, you might ask? Well, we all knew Ukraine is an agricultural giant. They have the ability to produce enough food to feed 600 million people. What most of us don’t know is Ukraine is a lot like the United States. They have natural resources. A lot of resources. Uranium, titanium, iron ore, coal, natural gas, oil, precious metals of all kinds, and a LOT more. It’s estimated Ukraine potentially has up to 23% of all of the world’s natural resources. Is it any wonder Putin wants Ukraine?

With so much on the line in Ukraine, where is US President Joe Biden through all of this? Well, he did warn Putin he would infl ict the feared “economic sanctions” if Putin dared to enter Ukraine. I’m sure Putin spent many sleepless nights worrying about THAT. When Putin claims Ukraine as a part of Russia, he’ll have captured more economic wealth than ALL of the “economic sanctions” ever put on ALL countries, COMBINED. It’s sort of like threatening to remove a Snickers bar from your child’s bag of Halloween candy if they don’t behave (although I do like Snickers bars). Now that Putin is moving in, the Biden administration has put the fearful “economic sanctions” on the “separatist regions” of Ukraine itself. It’s so ridiculous, it’s laughable.

Germany halts certification of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. They better hope Putin doesn’t turn the gate valve to the “off” position. Oh wait, Biden shuts off pipelines as a matter of routine. Now Biden threatens to “fully block” Russian financial institutions, and puts “comprehensive sanctions” on Russian debt. Listen, the only thing Russia understands is strength, and the will to use force. Biden is anything but strong. He’s a feeble, senile, incompetent joke of a President. Biden is a puppet of the Left, and his strings are fraying. This country and the whole world are fi nally experiencing buyers remorse at a level never before seen. We can’t even pretend it hurts to say “we told you so”.

There is a silver lining in all of this. We only have another 3 years to go. What else could possibly go wrong?
