To the editor:

Our Forefathers provided us a document called the Constitution of the United States that formed, not a democracy, but a republican form of government that placed the responsibility of ownership of this nation in the hands of the people. How are we doing with that? Do you feel like an owner? Would you put control of your car, your house, your way of life or any other possessions in the hands of people you don’t know? It’s not too late to take on that responsibility of ownership yet, however, if people don’t wake up soon the “too late” may be sooner than we think.

Tuesday, February 1, at 7 p.m. caucus is the first step in getting involved in the process of becoming a “responsible” citizen of this “republic.” Please take the time to attend your precinct caucus. Your country needs you more than ever!
