To the editor:

The dog population in New Ulm has increased significantly over the years and the need for dog groomers has increased. The New Ulm Veterinary Clinic is no longer offering grooming services which is making it difficult for people to get their dogs groomed. The groomers in New Ulm are very busy and cannot pick up the slack. People are having to go out of town to get these services done. It is so important to keep our four legged friends groomed for health reasons and it’s a shame New Ulm residents have to travel out of town to get this done.

City of New Ulm please look into getting another groomer in New Ulm . . How about bringing in a Pet Smart or PetCo or any kind of store that carnes pet products and offers grooming? Let’s keep our dollars in New Ulm and our fur babies happy and safe.
