To the editor:

I write this letter to encourage each of you to vote for Andrea Boettger for the New Ulm City Council this November. I have known Andrea for years now both personally and professionally. She has a mind for business and a heart for service, making her the perfect candidate to serve us.

Professionally, she knows how to balance fiscal responsibility while ensuring that our community continues to receive the funding and resources needed to make sure we continue to grow and flourish. She will make sure small businesses, both new and existing, get what they need to succeed. She is an expert in working with numerous stakeholders simultaneously and in partnership to get things done. She does not back away from difficult conversations or decisions and has always made herself available to those looking for assistance or guidance.

She has been attending City Council meetings on her own time because she cares about our community. In a time with some many unknowns, Andrea has successfully navigated the pandemic crises while Executive Director of Turner Hall, a facility most well-known for its large social gatherings, now put on hold. There is no task Andrea is not up to the challenge for and she will make an excellent City Councilor and will make sure that the Council continues to work for you.
