To the editor:

I’ve known Larry Mack for almost 20 years, working with him in a number of capacities.

Most recently Larry has been a dedicated volunteer at The Grand, where he has helped build our gift shop, our Smallest Museum and develop our Cellar Press area. Early on Larry helped us with our original renovation of the first floor of The Grand and he was extremely hard working and dedicated to getting it right. I served with Larry on the City Heritage Preservation Commission for many years, where we made a number of efforts to improve downtown, seeking grants and developing programs to help capitalize on this asset.

Larry cares deeply about the City of New Ulm, it’s downtown and it’s business climate. He is always trying to find creative ways to move things forward. Larry works hard, is innovative and would be an excellent leader of the New Ulm City Council.
