To the editor:
Last month’s specials session of the Minnesota Legislature included votes on a bonding bill. The bill included $300,000 for the New Ulm German Park project. Our local Representative Paul Torkelson, Hanska, voted against the bill. He continues to be a lockstep partisan following Minority Leader Kurt Daudt and is unable to make compromises even when it would benefit us. Fortunately we have an election in November. I plan to vote for Mindy Kimmel to represent the interests of District 16B.
