The Gray Fox

To the editor:

The fox, in luxurious fur, moved leisurely through bright, deep snow, barely glancing at the Cottontail.

This visit was a reminder of the first (’75?) — he climbed vertically to the highest dried apples.

The prime condition of this fox portends more visits in Winters to come.

Let us hope.
