Where’s the story?
To the editor:
In the past several weeks New Ulm has lost two life long dedicated citizens in Dr Jim Seifert and Herb Schaper. The only acknowledgement of their passing in The Journal was a small obit yet these two individuals devoted their life to making New Ulm a better place to live, work and play for present and future generations.
Instead the front pages of The Journal during these weeks were devoted to criminal events and acts of violence. And no story on what these gentlemen did for all the years they devoted to making New Ulm a better place to live.
What does this say about our present society?
