To the editor:

Now the elections are over, all the Dear Editor Letters on politics are gone, all the letters of how good the politicans would work for our country are gone, but two letters caught my eye — “Would Jesus Vote Democrat,” or another asked “Would Jesus Vote Republican.” I will not answer either but will say Jesus was taken to Pilate, also to Herod and as I read the Good Book it was not they who found fault with him, but it was the Religious leaders of the day who could not understand his teaching so he founded his own apostles.

I feel our country was started on the same good book and maybe we should be looking at that more than we are.
