To the editor:

I am writing this letter to express my enthusiastic support of Robert Beussman as he seeks re-election for his third term as Mayor of New Ulm.

For the past eight years, Mayor Beussman has gone above and beyond in his service to New Ulm, serving as the City’s chief ambassador and relationship builder. While the Mayor of New Ulm’s role is largely ceremonial, Mayor Beussman has always done more than is required: keeping regular office hours at City Hall; attending community events; and connecting with residents, business owners and other individuals who share his passion to continually make New Ulm a better place for everyone.

My support for Mayor Beussman comes not from a familiarity with his politics, but on a more personal level. As a member of the City Council in my community, Bob has ALWAYS had time to lend a supportive ear, offer his advice or words of encouragement and support whenever our paths crossed.

What I do know is Robert Beussman is honest and respectful. He is a good listener and always puts the needs of other before his own. Simply put, Mayor Beussman’s kindness (which today more than ever the world can use a little more of) is what sets his apart from ALL others. He is an individual of integrity and as such, is worthy of your vote this fall in the election for Mayor of New Ulm.

I support Robert Beussman for Mayor of New Ulm, and you should too!
