MCCL — 50 years of making a difference

To the editor:

A half century ago, a handful of MInnesota citizens recognized an emerging threat to human life in our state. They saw a movement to legalize the killing of unborn children. And so they decided to do something to protect those who needed protection.

That’s how Minnesota Citizens Concerned for LIfe (MCCL) began. Their mission statement is “to secure protection for innocent human life from conception until natural death through education, legislation and political action committees.

I heard on the news the other day that 90 percent of women have decided not to have an abortion if they have viewed their ultrasound. Gov. Mark Dayton vetoed this (a bill requiring doctors to offer women having an aboriton to see their ultrasound). WE NEED A PRO-LIFE GOVERNOR.

Thank God for the lives of the unborn children that MCCL have helped save. Choose life — you mom did.
