To the editor:

School teachers possessing guns per classroom? Far too many negatives to this insane idea.

With so many retired and homeless vets of our military, give them the (paid) honor to stand in front of every school to provide safety and security to all! Without a doubt, no crazy bad guy would have the nerve to bully a vet or would be able to as vets have the strength, skill, training and experience to defend innocent people (and property) in a sane safe manner.

The vet would also have the authority like the MP (military police) person to arrest immediately the threatening crazy person!

Seems like a win-win solution for everyone in putting a stop to all the school horrors over so many years.

Common sense needs to be utilized.

Take back our schools.
