To the editor:

State Senator Gary Dahms and State Representative Paul Torkelson have been asked repeatedly to hold Town Hall meetings at various times of the day in order to give everyone the opportunity to attend. Regardless of these requests, I’m disappointed to see that they have once again ignored their constituents and scheduled their next round of Town Hall meetings during daytime hours only. That works great for farmers and retirees, but what about the working folks? I would like to urge them once again, publicly, to schedule their next Town Hall in the evening so that they can hear from teachers, nurses, doctors, DNR staff, caregivers and others who work during the day. Their voices are important too.
