It’s Merry ‘Christmas’
To the editor:
The “Holiday Greetings” insert in The Journal Dec. 15 displayed charming Christmastime artwork from New Ulm’s elementary schools. The advertisements therein were of interest for what they said, and some for what they did not say. I counted 45 ads, 26 of which celebrated Christmas in the text, but 19 did not. Let us all acknowledge that the birth of Jesus is the reason for our holiday season.
