Our View: What a difference

House of Representatives Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., ripped a Republican proposal to replace Obamacare not long after the bill’s contents were released this week.

Americans don’t know enough about the bill, Pelosi insisted. Why, “without a (Congressional Budget Office) score to reveal the catastrophic consequences of their ‘Make America Sick Again’ bill, Republicans must not move forward with a committee vote,” she said.

“The American people deserve to see what Republicans are trying to do to their health care,” Pelosi added.

Just before Congress, then controlled by Democrats, enacted the Obamacare law in 2010, Pelosi had an entirely different opinion.

Pelosi, then speaker of the House, answered a question about Obamacare by advising that “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it …”

Really, Congresswoman Pelosi?
