Frank J. Marka, 83, of New Ulm, died Oct. 1 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes (mvfh.org) is assisting the family. He is survived by his wife, Susan. He was born July 7, 1939, in New Ulm to Frank C. and Mary (Heck) Marka.

Daryl D. Hilbert, 80, died Sept. 23 at Friendship Village in Chesterfield, Missouri. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls.
