NEW ULM–Paul J. Flannery, age 85, of New Ulm, Minnesota, died on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Vista Prairie at Ridgeway on 23rd in New Ulm surrounded by the love of his family. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with a Prayer Service at 3:45 pm prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 am and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Nathan Hansen. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.
