Louise (Soukup) Forster died at Divine Providence in Sleepy Eye with family by her side on Saturday March 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with Christian Mothers Rosary at 3:30pm and a Prayer Service at 3:45pm prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00am until 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Tanner Thooft. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. She is survived by sons, Todd Forster, Grand Forks ND and Jerry (Sue) Forster, Minnetrista MN; daughters, Lisa Hoffmann, Sleepy Eye MN and Kristy (Mike) Suess, Sleepy Eye MN;  9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
