NEW ULM–Michael Boyum, age 64, of New Ulm passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Amy Karlson will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery Columbarium. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. A full obituary will be featured in Saturday’s edition of The Journal. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is assisting the family with arrangements.
