Carol was united in marriage with Mike Young and together they shared 63 years devoted to each other and their incredible family. She was the rock of the family, focusing her deep love and energy on each family member. Carol was a talented homemaker, gardener, seamstress and needle point creator. She loved to play golf and was good at it! To help with family needs, Carol found time to work as a church and small business secretary.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Vera and Glenn, sister Joan, brother Bill and brother-in-law E.Leslie Young. Survived by her husband Mike, children Deborah (Kevin) Huggett, Mark (Charlotte) Young and Jennifer Rogers, grandchildren Allison (Anthony) Terbrock, Megan Huggett, Jake Young, Reid (Stephanie) Young, Abby Rogers and Zoey Rogers.

Thanks to The Glenn Minnetonka and specifically the Care Suites staff for care given to Carol as well as their friendship and support provided her family. Also, to our home-care friend and helper, Adame, for her strong Christian love and support during difficult times.

To honor Carol’s life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church West Campus 7150 Rolling Acres Road Victoria MN 55386 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments and socializing following service. Memorials may be directed to Love, INC Carver County and Bountiful Basket Food Shelf both located in Chaska.
