Judy is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Clifford Blank; son, David (Cindy) Blank; daughter, Brenda Nielsen; sister, Bonnie Steuben; and her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Allan Nielsen.

Judy Kay Steuben was born December 24, 1943 to Harland and Bertha (Mori) Steuben in Spencer, Iowa. She attended a one room country school until 5th grade, then graduated from Everly Community School in 1962. Judy furthered her education at Mankato Commercial College, graduating in 1963, and began working as an administrative assistant for Prudential. On August 12, 1967, Judy was united in marriage to Clifford Blank at Oakwood United Methodist Church in New Ulm. They were the first marriage in the newly built church. Judy and Clifford were blessed with two children, whom Judy helped provide for by being a stay at home mom until they both were old enough to go to school. She then worked as a title 1 paraprofessional at Nicollet Public School for five years, then 28 years with New Sweden Mutual, before retiring in 2011.

In her free time, Judy loved tending to her garden, baking, cooking, canning, sewing, and volunteering at church. She was a board member for New Sweden Mutual since 2004, Sunday school teacher at Oakwood United Methodist, and member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Lake Crystal. Judy especially enjoyed all the trips to Branson and spending as much time as possible with her family. She will be dearly missed. Blessed be her memory.
