Catherine was born November 1, 1937 on the home farm in Stark Township, Sleepy Eye to Peter and Katherine (Moldan) Goblirsch. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1955. She was employed at First Security Bank until her marriage to Lester Hillesheim on April 14, 1959.

She was a devoted homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great -grandchildren. She loved them all dearly.

She is survived by her husband Lester of 66 years. Sons, Ronald Hillesheim, Glen (Ursula) Hillesheim; daughters, Karen (Dean) Sellner and Carol (Mark) Portner. 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Margaret Schwartz, Cletus (Delores) Goblirsch and sister-in-law Loretta Goblirsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Martin (Deloris) Goblirsch. Fr. Leo Goblirsch, Aloysius Goblirsch, sisters Cecilia, Gertrude (Leonard) Grunig, Sr Maria Goretti-“Rosalia”, Arlene (Gerald) Schroepfer, brother-in-law Bud Schwartz.
