MADISON–The Zahrbock Funeral Home of Madison, MN announces the death of 88-year-old Kay (Bergerson) Theis of New Ulm, MN formerly of Madison who passed away on February 7, 2026 at a New Ulm Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. February 17, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Madison, MN.  Rev. Thomas Puffe will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. It will continue for an hour before the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery. Kay is survived by her children: Bret (Becky) Bergerson of Madsion, MN, Brian (Cathy) Bergerson of Madison, MN, Randy (fiancé Lisa Larson) Bergerson of New Ulm, MN, Kathy (David) Heyer of New Ulm, MN and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
