Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial with full military honors accorded by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. On November 27, 1948, Sandra Lee was born to William and Mathilda Gillick at the Loretta Hospital in New Ulm, MN at 10:20 PM. Sandee graduated from New Ulm High School and the University of Minnesota with honors. She became a strong, loving, passionate woman who was always ready to help anyone.

She is survived by the love of her life William Fritz after 56 wonderful years; her brother, Roger Gillick; sisters, Ruth Tessmer, Polly Bipes, and Mary Jo Weber; and a wonderful, loving lifelong group of friends.
