NEW ULM–James “Jim” Herman Albrecht, 89, of New Ulm, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.  Pastor Timothy Smith will officiate, and burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 13th at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm.  The visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church prior to the service. Jim is survived by his children, Laurie Klingler, Sandra Reiter, Susan Forst, Mike and Willie Albrecht; his 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
