SLEEPY EYE–Richard Clarence “Dick” Neyers, age 83 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 1:30 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 1:45 p.m. prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Craig Timmerman. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Sleepy Eye Honor Guard. Dick is survived by his wife, Joyce Neyers of Sleepy Eye; children, Michele Neyers of Annapolis, MD, Michael (Jennie) Neyers of Glencoe, and Melissa McGrath of Brainerd; grandchildren, Michaela Neyers and Jenna Neyers of Glencoe; siblings, Mary Lou (Jerry) Mans of Savage, Joan Hauser of Prior Lake, and Tom Neyers of Minneapolis; in-laws, Ron and Connie Wendinger of New Ulm and Ralph Garding of Blaine; and other loving relatives and friends.
