John Otto Clyne Jr. was born October 3, 1950 in New Ulm to John Sr. and Anna (Fleck) Clyne. He was a 1968 graduate of New Ulm High School. Putz spent his entire career with Heymann Construction in New Ulm, where he made many special, lifelong friends. Putz was a man who lived life in his own way, never needing much more than the things he loved most. He enjoyed the outdoors, and time spent archery shooting and fishing. A lifelong sports fan, he followed football, baseball, and hockey. Music was a constant in Putz’s life, with old-time tunes, especially Johnny Cash, always playing. Many who knew him will remember him best sitting back with a beer, catching a game or a show on TV, sharing many laughs and making memories with his buddies.

Putz will be missed by those who knew him, but his easygoing presence and the simple joys he found in everyday life will not be forgotten. Blessed be his memory.
