NEW ULM–Mary A. Peterson, age 81, of New Ulm, Minnesota, formerly of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota died on September 5, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Evan, with visitation 1 hour prior, with Pastor Becca Krogstad officiating. Interment will be at Brookville Dannebod Cemetery in rural Springfield. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer, Minnesota.
