NEW ULM–Robert “Butch” Stanley Domeier, 87, of New Ulm, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Oak Hills Living Center, New Ulm, where he had been a resident since July, 2024. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm.  Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery where the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor will provide full military honors. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, September 5th and continue Saturday from 9-10 :30 am, all at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.  Robert is survived by his spouse of 64 years, Mary Ellen (Schwartz) Domeier and three children:  Philip Domeier, Elk River, MN; Anita Domeier, Westport, KY; Joseph Domeier, Burnsville, MN; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
