NEW ULM–Wallace “Wally” Bastian, age 92, of New Ulm, died on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Evergreen Home at Swam Lake in Minnetonka. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the St. George Catholic Church in St. George, with Father Tanner Thooft celebrating the mass. Burial will follow in the St. George Catholic Cemetery.  New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – NORTH Chapel in New Ulm.
