SLEEPY EYE–Lester A. Helget, age 83 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on Friday, August 8, 2025, at his home in rural Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with a Prayer Service at 3:45 pm prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 10:15 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 am and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Craig Timmerman. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.
