He was preceded in death by his father, William Larson; his twin sister, Marie Larson; and his stepfather, Gordon Haack.
Matthew was born on October 3, 1968, in New Ulm to William and Karen (Olson) Larson. He graduated from New Ulm High School in 1987 and went on to serve honorably in the United States Navy until 1994.
On June 30, 2012, he was united in marriage to Meredith Schladweiler in a ceremony at Schell’s Brewery in New Ulm.
For nearly two decades, Matthew worked as a Feed Mill Operator at Christian Farms. Outside of work, he found joy riding his motorcycle and unwinding in his man cave — a space he made his own.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
