A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour before the service. www.mankatomortuary.com

Nancy was born October 9, 1954, in Mankato to Donald H. and Averill P. (Hassing) Heidemann. She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1973 and attended the McConnell School of Travel in Minneapolis. Nancy worked at National Car Rental for many years and lived in Eagan, MN. She moved to Mankato and worked at Taylor Corporation until her retirement, when she moved to Inver Grove Heights.

Nancy loved dogs and had many as loving companions throughout her life. She loved to travel – Europe, Australia, and nearly all 50 states, including Hawaii. Girl trips with her sisters and nieces were a highlight of her later years. Many happy memories were made in Las Vegas, Chicago, Colorado, Phoenix, Little Rock, and more.

Nancy is survived by her three sisters, Sharon (Bill) Oachs, Lynn (Bruce) Heuchert, and Becky (Bob) Grussendorf; nieces and nephews, Stacie Buccelli, Terry (Shelley) Oachs, Jessica (T.J.) Fletcher, Michael (Melissa) Heuchert, Brian (Sarah) Grussendorf, Kelly Grussendorf (Conrad), Shannon (Luke) Hagen; plus 15 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece; and extended family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
