Randy Paul Hoffman was born on July 11, 1962, in New Ulm, Minnesota, to Robert J. and Phyllis (Tauer) Hoffman. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1980 and continued his education at Mankato State University and Alexandria Technical and Community College. Throughout his career, Randy held several positions, most recently serving as Branch Manager at Gold Medal Products in Shakopee. Known as a fair and dedicated leader, he consistently exceeded both customer and corporate expectations. His commitment and integrity earned him recognition as a top salesman — a reflection of his work ethic and ability to build lasting relationships. Outside of work, Randy’s greatest joy was his family. He found deep fulfillment in caring for those he loved, always looking for ways to brighten their lives — whether by preparing a special meal, offering a helping hand, or simply being present. On July 13, 2012, he married the love of his life, Sereen Wieland, at Flandreau State Park in New Ulm. That same day, he proudly became a father to Shayna and Sara, embracing his new role as “girl dad” with his whole heart. Randy loved spending time outdoors — hunting with his son-in-law, taking pontoon and motorcycle rides, grilling, and traveling, especially to Lake City with Sereen. He had a passion for photography and a talent for capturing life’s beautiful moments. A devoted family man, he was smart, hard-working, selfless, and blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. Randy would do anything for his girls and his family, and his love for them was evident in everything he did. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Blessed be his memory.
