NEW ULM–Mass of Christian Burial for Monica Stephenson, 81, of Marshall, formally of New Ulm, will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, with a rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church in New Ulm. Interment will follow at the New Ulm City Cemetery. Monica died on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center after a hard-fought battle with gastric cancer.
