LAFAYETTE–Gerald Petterson, age 98, of Lafayette passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Ecumen Pathstone in Mankato. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bernadotte Lutheran Church in rural Lafayette. Pastor Mike Zaske will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bernadotte Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bernadotte Lutheran Church in rural Lafayette. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is assisting the family with arrangements.
