BANNING, CA–Dianne Kay (Albrecht) Johnson, born Aug 29, 1940 in New Ulm, MN Died March 12, 2022 in Banning, CA at the age of 81 from Cardiopulmonary arrest.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LaRay Merrill “Pickle” Johnson and parents, Fred and Violet Albrecht of New Ulm. She is survived by sons, Michael Johnson (and wife Jaimee Johnson) of Buena Park, CA and Bradley Johnson (and wife Angela Johnson) of Lavon, TX; grandchildren Sydnie Johnson of Dallas, TX and Hunter Johnson of Dallas, TX, in addition to sister Karen Hippert of New Ulm, MN. She also had 3 stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dianne spent half her life (40 years) in the New Ulm area near family and friends and the other half (41 years) in the Southern California area where she could be close to her kids and grandkids. She worked for many years as a receptionist for several different businesses and industries and enjoyed working with the public. She was known by all as being open and honest and caring for those that were important to her. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her dear friends in New Ulm and loved taking the opportunity to hit the open road and drive from California to Minnesota and continued to do so until Covid and health issues kept her from continuing to do that.

She and her husband will be interred during a private family ceremony on August 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at New Ulm Cemetery on what would have been her 84th birthday.
