Angela “Annie” Rose Burckhard

Angela “Annie” Rose Burckhard was born to Peter and Marolyn Burckhard April 14, 1977. Angela was a bright light of love and kindness, while on this Earth before she went to be with our Heavenly Father, June 23rd, 2024.
In high school, Angela was the head cheerleader and danced in the Johnny Cavelle recitals. She was passionate about ballet and modern jazz dance. After college, she married and became a mother of two beautiful children: Krow and Addison. She went on to become a successful entrepreneur, building A03 designs and Angela Valentine handbags from scratch. Each purse, bag, clutch, wallet, keychain or wearable accessory was designed, cut, sewn, and assembled by her strong, caring hands. She strived to make this world a more beautiful place, and every piece she built brought joy and beauty to whomever wore her carefully crafted works of art. Angela was highly revered in the fashion world and received awards for her craft.
Angela’s beautiful mark on this world will never be forgotten, nor will her beautiful smile, her laugh, her love for her family and friends or the light she brought every time she walked into the room.
On Sept. 7, 2022 Angela and her significant other Gregg Nordby brought their daughter Romy Valentine, into the world and blessed the entire family with a child that embodies Angela’s beauty.
Angela Rose is survived by her parents Peter and Marolyn Burckhard of Aberdeen, SD, her brothers Joel (Kristi), Justin and Jeremy; her sister Meghan, her children; Krow, Addison, Romy and significant other Gregg Nordby.
She will be greatly missed by her family and extended family–nieces, nephews and a host of longtime friends.
Celebration of life will be held 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 in German Park in New Ulm. Words cannot express the loss of Angela “Annie” Rose Burckhard.
