NEW ULM–Dianne Reinhart, 81, of New Ulm died Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father Jerry Meidl celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 – 10 a.m Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH Chapel in New Ulm. Dianne is survived by her daughters, Shelley Allen of Inver Grove Heights, Tricia (Jason) Ritzer of Woodbury, Renae (Tom) Stierlen of North Mankato; a son, Dan Reinhart of New Ulm; grandchildren, Meleah, Andrew, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Hannah, Blake, Jenna, Abbi and Derek; sister-in-law, Ramona Reinhart of Redwood Falls; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom; son-in-law Aron Allen; brother Ron and sister-in-law Pat Grommersch; brother-in-law, Jim and sister-in-law Reita Reinhart and brother-in-law David Reinhart.

Dianne Dorothy Grommersch was born August 21, 1942 in New Ulm to Alfred and Dorothy (Dorn) Grommersch. She was a graduate of Nicollet High School. Dianne was united in marriage to Thomas Reinhart on June 26, 1963 at Swan Lake Catholic Church. Dianne was employed at Five Star Dairy, AMPI and then New Ulm Medical Center for 32 years before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, working funeral luncheons and volunteering at the New Ulm Food Shelf. Dianne enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren and being part of their activities. She also enjoyed spending time with all of her special friends.

Dianne was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity and Christian Mother’s Society.
